Q: What's the difference between MLXchange and MLX Professional?
A: Access to the MLXchange MLS system is paid for by your monthly MLS dues. MLX Professional, is an optional add-on that you can subscribe to on a month-to-month basis, but many MLSs also provide MLX Professional to their entire membership for no additional fee. MLX Professional includes an Agent Web Site with private Client Web Pages, Internet lead capture, e-mail templates, and enhanced client and task management, which are all 100% integrated with the MLXchange MLS system.
Q: What will my Agent Web Site address be?
A: Every MLX Professional Agent Web Site has its own unique Web address. By default, the address will be something like "http://[YOUCHOOSE].[mls].mlxchange.com." You can personalize the first part of the address but not the second part (i.e., not the "[mls].mlxchange.com" portion).
Q: Can I use my own domain name with the Agent Web Site?
A: Yes. Instead of the domain name provided, you also have the option of using your MLX Professional Agent Web Site with a different domain name that you already own. To do this, enter your domain name in the field provided under Advanced Options in the Web Site Domain area of the Agent Web Page Setup section.
Q: Does MLX Professional give me a new e-mail address?
A: Yes, MLX Professional provides you with your own e-mail account and Inbox for communicating with your clients. When you subscribe to MLX Professional, you are prompted to choose your new e-mail address — note that you can NOT change this e-mail address once it has been saved, so choose carefully.
Q: Do I have to use my MLX Professional e-mail address?
A: No, you can continue using your existing e-mail address as your "Reply To" address for all messages that you send from the MLS system. However, if you don't use your new MLX Professional e-mail address, you won't be able to take full advantage of the program. For example, when you receive e-mail at your new MLX Professional address from people in your Client Manager, the program automatically associates the e-mail message with the appropriate client and maintains a communications history that can be viewed from the Client Record. This functionality is not available when using any other e-mail address.
